This packet contains information for all students interested in running in the 2025 ASI Elections, including important deadlines, eligibility requirements, student leader benefits, and more!

Elections Explained

Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) is governed by the ASI Board of Directors. The ASI Board of Directors and professional staff members manage the day-to-day operations of the corporation providing CPP students, faculty, and staff dynamic programs and services. The purpose of ASI Elections is to elect student leaders composed of the ASI President, Vice President and Senators that sit on the ASI Board of Directors in Student Government. Student Government Elections occur annually in spring semester online.

The ASI Board of Directors is a voting body that consists of a President, a Vice President, a Senator to represent each of the eight colleges (College of Agriculture, College of Business, Collins College of Hospitality Management, College of Education and Integrative Studies, College of Engineering, College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences, College of Environmental Design, and College of Science), and a Senator to represent each of the four at-large councils (Student Interest Council, Greek Council, Interhall Council, and Multicultural Council).

How do I meet candidates running or learn about document changes?

All CPP students are invited to the election candidate events to meet those running in the election. Visit the ASI Portal to learn more about these events. Students are also encouraged to read the platforms of those running in addition to the ASI document changes for ASI on the Voter Information Guide.
