The following positions must meet the minimum CSU eligibility requirements (pdf), including:
- Maintain a minimum 2.0 on-campus term GPA and minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
- Be enrolled at Cal Poly Pomona and have completed at least one semester prior to appointment, with a minimum of 6 semester units earned
- Maintain enrollment in at least 6 semester units while serving in the position
- Be in good standing with the Office of Student Conduct and Integrity and not be on academic, disciplinary, or administrative probation
- Not exceed the maximum allowable unit limit (150 semester units or 125% of the units required for the degree, whichever is greater)

Candidates should meet the CSU system wide requirement of eligibility, which includes: a 2.0 GPA or higher, attended 1 semester at Cal Poly Pomona, having taken and received credit for at least 6 semester units, being in good standing with the Office of Student Conduct & Integrity, and having not exceeded the unit load maximum.
