Become a Student-At-Large

Did you know that there are ways to get involved with Student Government without running for a position and being elected by the student body? You can also have a role in Student Government and have your voice heard by university administration without heading one of our standing or ad hoc committee meetings.

Eligibility Requirements

ASI is now accepting applications for Student-at larges positions to serve during the 2026–2027 academic year. Candidates must meet the minimum CSU eligibility requirements (pdf), including:

  • Maintain a minimum 2.0 on-campus term GPA
  • Be enrolled at Cal Poly Pomona and have completed at least one semester prior to appointment, with a minimum of 6 semester units earned
  • Maintain enrollment in at least 6 semester units while serving in the position
  • Be in good standing and not be on academic, disciplinary, or administrative probation
  • Not exceed the maximum allowable unit limit (150 semester units or 125% of the units required for the degree, whichever is greater)
