Packages in Personal Training include:

Fitness Consultation

A Fitness Consultation is a one-on-one session with one of our personal trainers to set goals, learn about fitness programs, and get acclimated to exercise equipment tailored to individual needs and interests.

The consultation is intended to serve as an informative and introductory session with a personal trainer while providing foundational exercise recommendations per the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).

The consultation DOES NOT include an assessment or client-specific program prescription. Those services are available only after purchasing a 1, 3, 5, or 10-session training package.

Comprehensive Assessment

A Comprehensive Assessment will include everything in the basic assessment along with the addition of blood pressure & heart rate measurement, anthropometric measurements, and additional performance assessments as needed/requested. This will be scheduled for 55 minutes.

1-Session

This package includes a Basic Assessment that will be a part of your session. Your session will be 1 hour and 30 minutes long to accommodate the assessment (30 minutes) and your session (55 minutes).

3, 5, 10-Sessions

These packages include a Comprehensive Assessment along with 3, 5, or 10 training sessions. The Comprehensive Assessment will be completed separately from the additional sessions. All sessions will be scheduled for 55 minutes.

Buddy Training

Buddy Training packages are limited to 2 people and are only available for the 5-session and 10-session packages. These will include a basic assessment that will add an extra 30 minutes to the first session. Please make sure to specify if your package will be a buddy training package.

Basic Assessment

A Basic Assessment is included in each package is a collection of objective measurements and physical performance markers (height, weight, body composition, and Functional Movement Screen) to identify strengths and areas of improvement of the client. This assessment extends the first session by 30 minutes.

Buddy Training

Buddy Training packages are limited to 2 people and are only available for the 5-session and 10-session packages. These will include a basic assessment that will add an extra 30 minutes to the first session. Please make sure to specify if your package will be a buddy training package.

Personal Training FAQs 

Once our team confirms that we can schedule you with a personal trainer, an email will be sent from personaltraining@cpp.edu with links to submit the remaining forms along with a link to complete your purchase. 

Our Personal Training team uses Calendly, a scheduling app that will allow you to schedule sessions at your own convenience. You will not need to download the app to be able to schedule with your Personal Trainer.  

Our Personal Training team uses Microsoft Teams, which is available to all currently enrolled CPP students. This will allow our Personal Trainers to communicate with clients more effectively when they are in the BRIC due to limited cell service inside the building. 

Personal Training sessions will be held inside the BRIC at the location best suited to the needs of the day.  

Cancellations/reschedules must be received at least 24 hours in advance. Requests with less than 24 hours are subjected to being considered a “burned” session. Full scheduling details are outlined in the Client/Trainer agreement sent via email.
