Register a BRIC membership
Students assessed the ASI Facilities & Operations fees can register for their free BRIC membership in the portal or app. Students under 18 will need a parent/legal guardian signature, but both the portal and app allow easy access to email the waiver, and once it’s signed and confirmed, your membership is active! Nonstudents can explore the different membership options available and sign up as well. Note, you’ll need to complete the registration process once a semester.
Access the BRIC
The mobile app is your entrance to the BRIC. After you’ve downloaded it and registered your membership, you’ll use your barcode ID in the app to scan at the entrance, the gates will open, and you’re good to go! If you have any issues, our staff at the front desk can assist you.
Register for Classes and Events
Use the Classes module to register for your group fitness classes. Registration opens 24 hours in advance for group fitness classes. These are free to members!
Also, use the Classes module to register for CPR courses and Orientations.
Use the Events module to register for all other activities hosted by ASI—anything from a trip to a special event, or a workshop!
Get Involved with Sport Clubs
Use the portal or app to browse and join sport clubs and view events, all in the Sport Clubs module.
Grab a BRIC Rental Locker
Interested in a semester-long rental of a BRIC locker? Grab one in the Lockers module. Complimentary day-use lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Gear Rental
Want to rent a tent or other outdoor equipment? Check out the Equipment Reservations module to see what’s offered and make a reservation.
Access the Portal
Visit the portal at Dashboard | Associated Students, Inc., Cal Poly Pomona and login with your CPP credentials. If you are not affiliated with CPP, select “local account.”
Get the App
The mobile app is available on Android and Apple devices. You’ll want to start at the portal, using a desktop or laptop computer, to connect a new device to your account. DSECampaign_Download App Instructions_D10
FAQs
1. What’s changing and when?
Starting May 26, there will be a new app to access the BRIC, discover new experiences, register for your BRIC membership, personal training, classes and events, and more.
2. Is the app free?
Yes, it’s free to download for Android and iPhone users. There are no in-app purchases; however, you may need to pay for ASI activities with a registration cost.
3. I don’t have a smart phone. Where can I find the information from the app?
All information about student activities, events, and resources can be found on the ASI Website. You can also register for events and activities or make reservations for services via the portal at asicpp.dserec.com
4. I don’t have a smart phone. How do I access the BRIC without a barcode?
No worries. Just check in at the front desk and they’ll confirm your membership status prior to letting you in.
5. Why should I download the app?
The app is your own personal hub for all things ASI! The app makes it convenient for you to access the BRIC, register for activities and events, and stay updated with any immediate changes.
