Be part of our newest tradition, Green & Gold Block Party! Each basketball season, a special rivalry game for both the men’s and women’s team will follow the Green & Gold Block Party. Block Party festivities will include free food, spirited activities, and you guessed it, lots of GREEN and Gold! This event invites all current Broncos, alumni, and family members of Broncos to come out and cheer our team to victory.

Cal Poly Pomona’s annual Sport Climbing competition, Sport Rodeo is where spirited students, alumni, and our cherished community members come together to embrace the thrill of the climb.

Join us for a heart-racing showdown where climbers of all skill levels showcase their hard-earned talent. Compete head-to-head in the exhilarating lead or top rope climbing divisions and battle for the top spot on the podium. Beyond the gripping competition, immerse yourself in the festivities including opportunity drawings and free food!

Put on your dancing shoes for a dazzling occasion! Every spring semester, we invite all Broncos to attend our ASI Gala. The ASI Gala is a night full of good food, live entertainment and music, photo opportunities, and so much more!. Come with friends, with a date, or without a date and dance the night away! Attendees are encouraged to come dressed up, but there is never a formal dress code for the event.

Forget having to pay for expensive convention tickets and fees, and join us on campus for our version, BroncoCon! BroncoCon is a convention dedicated to gathering Broncos with similar interests and hobbies to socialize and come together. This convention is not only focused on comics, pop culture, and anime, but also spotlights other hobbies such as make up, video editing, and more! Activities include educational and fun workshops, a vendor/artist ally, and a cosplay contest. BroncoCon always ends with our favorite activity, a celebrity Q&A session! Previous celebrities have included Leslie David Baker, Stanley from “The Office” and Tara Strong, the voice actor of iconic cartoon characters such as Raven from “Teen Titans” and Timmy Turner from “The Fairly OddParents.”

Unwind and recharge before finals with Midnight Madness, ASI’s semesterly event to de-stress before the last weeks of the semester. Picture the entire Bronco Student Center transformed into a themed night full of unique activities and FREE FOOD. Previous activities include an indoor roller-skating rink, celebrity meet and greets, and indoor silent disco parties. Take a break from finals and enjoy spending time with your fellow Broncos at Midnight Madness, occuring 1-2 Fridays before finals week.

Get hyped for BroncoFusion, the ultimate concert experience brought to you by ASI! o This mega-concert event is the talk of the campus, jam-packed with your fellow Broncos grooving to student performances and a headliner that’ll get the crowd loud. Previous year’s acts include Dillion Francis, Amine, Ty Dolla $ign, and Chance the Rapper. In addition to the music, you’ll experience food trucks serving up delicious food and games that’ll keep the good vibes flowing all night long. BroncoFusion is THE event that every Bronco cherishes and talks about for years after.

Get ready to elevate your bouldering experience at the annual Boulderodeo, where climbers ditch the ropes and harnesses to free climb our 12-foot boulder wall at Bronco Peak! In this dynamic bouldering competition, climbers of diverse abilities can test their skills in either the open (V6+) or recreation (V0+) divisions. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, there’s a division for climbers of various levels to compete in. Amidst the hype of the competition, indulge in the thrill of opportunity drawings and free food to fuel your climb.

Embrace the SPOOK-tacular vibes with ASI every October as we conjure up an unforgettable Halloween experience on campus! Prepare for this chilling night as we haunt the BSC with several Halloween-style activities and foods. Previous activities include a mobile escape room, pumpkin decorating, and a spooky costume contest. We encourage Broncos to come out in their best costumes and scare the night away!
