On Friday, March 4, Associated Students Inc. (ASI) Campus Recreation held their third annual Rec Fest to 684 attendees at the Bronco Recreation and Intramural Complex (BRIC)!
Events ranged from a friendly basketball shootout…
Intense games of pingpong on the Multi-Activity Courts…
Personal training demos for Broncos looking for a helping hand in health and fitness..
Bubble soccer (and the crazy falls that come with it)…
Competitive games of Hantis and much more!
Students had opportunities to win free prizes and giveaways including ASI swag, a 6KU Fixie single-speed bike, a Fitbit and a GoPro!
“The BRIC is the best way for me to recharge because of its convenience,” said Alan Jahic, CPP student and frequent BRIC-goer. “It’s so great that I can go to class, study with friends and go work out all in one place, and it’s the best way to de-stress for me.”
“I think the best thing about the BRIC is the fact that Campus Rec really evaluates what works and what doesn’t work for students,” said Shelbi Long, ASI associated director of recreation. “I hope it continues to cater to the students’ needs for health, fun and fitness in the many years to come.”
