Review Course: CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers with First Aid and O2

The American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers with First Aid and O2 review course is typically designed to include a thorough review of essential CPR, AED, first aid, and oxygen administration skills. This ensures that participants revisit and reinforce the fundamental techniques required for effective emergency response. It also provides an opportunity for participants to stay current with the latest industry standards and protocols. It involves scenario-based learning, allowing participants to apply their skills in simulated emergency situations.

This hands-on approach helps individuals build confidence and ensures that they can effectively respond to real-life incidents. Lastly, it allows instructors to observe and correct any deviations, ensuring that participants adhere to the most effective and current techniques. Individuals seeking recertification must demonstrate their competence in performing all skills. This ensures that participants can apply their skills effectively in emergency situations.

Successful completion of a recertification course results in the renewal of certification. This renewed certification is typically valid for a 2-year period, after which individuals may need to undergo recertification again.

By participating in a CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers with First Aid and O2 review course for recertification, individuals contribute to the ongoing safety of themselves and those they may assist in emergency situations. Regular recertification ensures that individuals remain competent, confident, and well-prepared to respond effectively to various emergencies.

Please note, participants must show a current CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification, or a certification expired no more than 30 days prior to the start of the course

If an participant’s certification expiration date has gone beyond that time frame, then we request you sign up for one of our regular CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer + Administering Emergency Oxygen + First Aid + Bloodborne Pathogens courses.

• Blended learning consists of an online module and an in-person hands-on skill portion. This method allows for flexible learning and less time in person. This method, depending on the course, would lead anywhere from a 6-hour to 8-hour day.

• Instructor-led learning consists of a course that is completely in-person and led by instructors from start to finish which may lead to a course with several days and varying hours.

We offer different course variations of Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED for the Lay Responder and CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer + Administering Emergency Oxygen + First Aid + Bloodborne Pathogens. Both courses have the ability to cover child and/or pediatric sections.
