You graduated! You made it through the CPP experience and you’re ready to conquer the job market or graduate school. Here are some ways to stay connected with the university and become a Bronco for life:

Stay connected: Keep in touch with professors or advisors that have made a difference in your college career. Consider adding these contacts on Linkedin to keep in touch. In addition, make sure to keep in touch with the friends you made throughout college (not just on Facebook.) Taking the time to catch up on old times or vent about your job and apartment search  with your friends can alleviate some of these daily tribulations.

Join the Alumni Association: The CPP Alumni Association is a great way to stay connected with the campus community. The association includes many on-campus benefits such as discounts on Bronco Athletic games, Career Center services, the Kellogg West conference center and more. In addition, there are many off-campus benefits such as an alumni email address for life and auto, home and health insurance options.

Keep your Bronco spirit: You don’t have to “bleed green and gold” to have Bronco spirit. Show your Bronco pride by attending home games, or by giving back through the Bronco Mentor Program. You can still attend CPP traditions such as Matt’s Run, Pumpkin Festival or Hot Dog Caper.  Wear your CPP clothes with pride. Stay connected with the university news by reading Polycentric  or Poly Trends.

Give back: If there was a club or organization that made a significant impact on your time at CPP, show your appreciation by helping the club fund raise for future events. Show your support through assisting the club in their events.  You can even purchase a brick on the Alumni Brick Walkway located in the Rose Garden. By giving back to CPP, you can help implement the learn-by-doing philosophy by providing the means for improved facilities and new programs.

Congratulations on becoming an alumni and good luck on your future endeavors. For past articles on the full CPP experience, visit asi.csupomona.edu/asinside. For more information, visit asi.csupomona.edu.
