Trapped in a Room with a Zombie | 27.3 miles
Experience a post-apocalyptic simulation, created by Room Escape Adventures, that is sure to give you an adrenaline rush you’ll remember several summers from now! In the LA based game, you and eleven other people are locked into a room and with a zombie that is chained to the wall. Your objective? Escape! Easy enough… Wrong, your zombie’s chain is released a foot every five minutes… and you only have an hour to get out. Still too easy? We didn’t think so. With a 37 percent success rate, getting out of this contaminated room will be the challenge of your summer!
Bridge to Nowhere | 27. 4 miles
More of the outdoorsy type? Well, with a 900-feet elevation and a 10-mile round trip, the Bridge to Nowhere is definitely the hike to conquer. The hike consists of rugged terrain and will require a bit of wading through water to finish. Yup, your work is definitely cut out for you, but the ending will make it all worth it. Waiting for you at hike’s end is the amazing bridge! Here, you can take a dip in the numerous swimming holes below or if you’re feeling daring, take a bungee jump off the bridge! Not only will you have the experience of a lifetime, but with the amazing incline your body will thank you (or hate you, whatever) for the awesome work out!
Los Angeles Philharmonic | 29.6 miles
If you’re a frequent LA-goer, then you’ve definitely seen the beautifully designed Walt Disney Concert Hall, home to the LA Philharmonic. Did you know that this year will be their 10th anniversary? In celebration, the LA Philharmonic is offering tickets at a discounted price of $10 for select concerts from now until October! In addition to that, discounted tickets are also offered to full-time college students with a valid school ID. A classy night out on the town with the best classical music has to offer? I’m in!
