Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005)

Based on the novel by Ann Brashares, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants tells the story of a group of four best friends: Carmen (America Ferrera), Tibby (Amber Tamblyn), Bridget (Blake Lively), and Lena (Alexis Bledel). The girls share a special pair of pants as they spend their first summer apart. Even though they are all different sizes and shapes, they all fit perfectly into the same pair of jeans. They share the adventures they are having apart, as well as the magical pair of jeans in order to stay connected.

There is nothing that shouts “summer!” like a musical that is set on a sunny Greek island. Before her wedding day, Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) invites three men from her mother’s (Meryl Streep) past in hopes she can figure out who is her biological father in time for them to walk her down the aisle for her wedding. Will her mother reveal who her father is before she finds out herself? The only way to find out is by watching this movie musical cult classic!

Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)

After the events that took place during Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) longs for a break from being Spider-Man, to spend a couple of weeks with his best friend (Jacob Batalon) on a class trip to Europe. Parker plans to woo MJ (Zendaya). However, his fun filled trip is derailed when creatures, called the Elementals, begin causing havoc around the world. To make things even more challenging, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenahaal) who claims to be from another reality, recruit Peter to help take down the Elementals and discover who is responsible for the attacks.

Based on Kevin Kwan’s novel of the same name, Chinese-American New Yorker, Rachel Chu (Constance Wu) and her boyfriend Nick Young (Henry Golding) travel to Singapore to attend Nick’s best friend’s wedding, only to learn that Nick comes from one of Asia’s wealthiest and illustrious families. Rachel, who is seen as a commoner amid the social elite, becomes a target for single women competing for Nick’s attention, as well as for his disapproving mother (Michelle Yeoh), who would give anything for the two to break up.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008)
Directed by Nicholas Stroller
When his girlfriend of five years, Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell), the star of a corny crime junkie show, breaks up with him, Peter Bretter’s (Jason Segel) life comes crashing down. He mopes and weeps until finally his step brother (Bill Hader) convinces him to take a vacation. It’s not until he’s checking in at the hotel in Hawaii that he notices that Sarah and her new boyfriend, Aldous (Russell Brand), is there too. Peter begins to pout and mope once again until he’s saved by Rachel (Mila Kunis), a kind hotel clerk who invites him to a luau. Peter begins to come alive again, despite the fact he keeps running into Sarah.

Hallie Parker and Annie James (both played by Lindsay Lohan) are identical twins separated when they were babies due to their parent’s divorce, never being told that they had a twin on the other side of the globe. The girls are sent to the same summer camp (unknowingly to the parents) where they meet, learn the truth about themselves, and come up with a plan to swap places to meet the other parent. Hallie meets her mother, who is a famous wedding dress designer in England, Elizabeth James (Natasha Richard), while Annie tries to connect with her father, who makes wine on his Northern California Vineyard, Nick Parker (Dennis Quaid). The twins then devise a plan to have their parents meet, which is unexpectedly foiled by an announcement from their dad.
