Hey there, Broncos! As the leaves start to turn and fall 2023 arrives, we’ve lined up a series of enjoyable events to add a touch of excitement to your college routine. While the initial weeks may keep us busy, don’t forget to take a break and join in on the fun happening on campus!
Associated Student Incorporated (ASI) has put together an array of thrilling events for you to be a part of! Whether you’re into live music performances or prefer more adventurous activities, there’s something for everyone to participate in and enjoy. Here’s a rundown of the most highly anticipated events that you don’t want to miss!

Location: Bronco Commons
Get ready to rock out at the ultimate outdoor concert at Cal Poly Pomona that welcomes in all new and returning Broncos! Immerse yourself in exciting live performances from student artists and a headlining act that’ll blow your mind. It’s the perfect way to dive headfirst into the CPP spirit and begin creating memories that’ll last a lifetime.
BRIC Open House
Date: September 8
Time: 1-10 p.m.
Location: BRIC
Step into a day of adventure at the BRIC Open House, featuring four fantastic events to engage, entertain, and connect with the BRIC community!
Fall Into Fitness (1-4 p.m. at the BRIC lobby): Our Fitness team is all set to kick off the new school year with Try-A-Trainer, Movement of the Week, and Fitness Orientation programs. Discover resources from Bronco Wellness Center and CAPS to stay connected!
3-Point Shootout (3-6 p.m. at the BRIC courts): Head to the second floor courts of the BRIC for a riveting tournament. The winner will receive a $25 Bronco Bucks gift card! This is also an opportunity to meet your future teammates for the upcoming Intramural (IM) teams.
Fall Kick-Off Pool Party (4-8 p.m. at the BRIC pool): Dive into fun at the BRIC poolside lounge! Enjoy live music, poolside games, and a chance to win exciting prizes. Plus, indulge in BBQ-style food to refuel your energy!
New Climber Night (7-10 p.m. at the Bronco Peak): A special community-themed night where the Bronco Peak stays open longer, welcoming newcomers to experience climbing firsthand. Ask questions, enjoy experiential climbing, and meet the people behind the program.

Brace yourselves for an incredible night of pure enjoyment at the Bronco Night Market! From an array of vendors and classic carnival games to delicious food you won’t want to miss – this event has it all! It’s a night of boundless excitement where everyone can savor the fun!

Embrace the eerie excitement at Bronco Fright Fest for a night you won’t forget! Dare to experience haunting escape rooms, a thrilling movie, and a spine-chilling costume contest. Don’t miss out on face painting, delectable food, and bewitching surprises!

Dive into the fun at Flick ‘N’ Float! Take a break from studying and unwind at a movie night poolside. We’ve got you covered with food and drinks, just be sure to bring a swimsuit if you plan on taking a dip in the (heated) pool. Flick ‘N’ Float will have to movie nights this summer; the first will screen “Coco” and the second “Monsters Inc.”

Groove with Billy at a music-filled night where student artist shine in an “American Idol” style competition! Cast your vote for the top brand, solo, or small group and cheer on your favorites. It’s going to be an epic showdown of musical talent.
