Any bone-afide dog lover knows just how tricky it can be to find fun, canine-friendly hangout spots. Recently, museums have become the trendy must-do activity of the moment. Unfortunately, most museums don’t allow our furry friends indoors– but don’t count museums out just yet. The La Brea Tar Pits welcome leashed-pups at many of their outdoor spaces. Watch out for the scary saber-toothed cat statues, but a stroll around the tar pits (and maybe even a history lesson?) is a go!
