The summer is a time for relaxation, beach trips and of course, movies. So this summer season, head to your local movie theater and catch one of these must-see summer blockbusters:
Finding Dory
Finding Nemo followed the story of Marlin, a clown fish, looking for his son Nemo. In his adventure, Marlin teams up with Dory, a fish with short-term memory loss. This time, follow Marlin and Nemo in their attempt to find Dory‘s family. The film will feature the original voice of Marlin, Albert Brooks, and the original voice of Dory, Ellen DeGeneres.

Independence Day: Resurgence
This is a long overdue sequel that takes place 20 years after the first film. Make sure you catch this movie about alien invasions, fighter jets and plenty of explosions to keep your inner action hero satisfied. The film stars Jeff Goldblum reprising his role as David Levinson, and now features Liam Hemsworth in the lead role.

Star Trek Beyond
The sequels to Star Trek keep on coming with its third film, Star Trek Beyond. This time, Captain Kirk and his crew get stranded on a remote planet after the USS Enterprise is attacked. Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto will both reprise their roles as Kirk and Spock, respectively.

The BFG
The cinematic mind of Steven Speilberg and Disney are coming together for the first time to bring you the film adaptation of the Roald Dahl classic story, The BFG. The adaptation follows the story of Sophie and an outcast Big Friendly Giant (BFG).

The Legend of Tarzan
It seems as though Hollywood is on a childhood remake rampage. Catch the epic remake of Tarzan, a man raised in a jungle since birth. The film will star Alexander Skarsgård as Tarzan and veteran actress Margot Robbie as Jane.

Ghostbusters
After the Ghostbusters saved New York from ghosts, demons and even a giant marshmallow man, it’s time for a new crew to take charge. Watch comedy icons Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wigg, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones become the ghostbusters.

Pete’s Dragon
A remake to the 1970s Disney classic, Pete’s Dragon follows the story of Pete, an orphan boy, and his friend Elliot, a dragon.

Suicide Squad
What happens when you get some of the major villains from the entire DC universe? Pure mayhem. Make sure to catch this antihero action blockbuster. The film will also feature the fan-favorite villain The Joker, played by Jared Leto.

The Founder
This film covers the story of Ray Kroc, the founder of a little restaurant by the name of McDonalds and stars Michael Keaton, whose last two films, Birdman and Spotlight, won the Academy Award for best picture. Could this be his hat-trick?

The Secret Life of Pets
Never again will we wonder what our pets do when we leave them alone, literally. This animated film follows the story of a dog named Max, who has to deal with the arrival of a new dog to his home. This film comes from Illumination Entertainment, the same creative minds behind Despicable Me.
