What does Cal Poly Pomona Lobby Corps do?

The ASI Lobby Corps is the advocacy branch of ASI, made up of Cal Poly Pomona students who lobby local, state, and federal legislators and organize events to create awareness of higher education issues.

We provide classes and workshops aimed at teaching students how to actively participate in the legislative process. Students learn how to coordinate visits to their state representatives to inform their representatives of student’s positions on issues.

The mission of the Cal Poly Pomona is to inform students on local, state, and federal government issues that impact students. Lobby Corps at Cal Poly Pomona serves at the point of contact between the students and the state government, coordinating with ASI, University Affairs, and CSSA.
