GENERAL INFORMATION

ASI Campus Recreation has partnered up with the Children’s Center to give kids ages 6-12 a full summer camp experience hosted at the BRIC!

REGISTRATION

Registration forms can be accessed online.

Registration will be open from March 1 until all the sessions are filled or by April 30.

$25 non-refundable deposit due at time of registration (secures your child’s spot and will be applied against total enrollment fee).

Register before March 15 for Early Bird Discount of $25 off.

Completed forms are to be turned in at the Children’s Center office.

Weekly session per camper $200.

Full payment due by June 15, 2018.

Week 1: July 2 – July 6 (No camp July 4)

CAMP WEEK THEMES

Week 1: Sea Explorers Week

Campers will have an amazing week full of aquatic learning. Campers will have the opportunity to explore the underwater world through pool lessons, snorkeling, as well as improving their swimming skills through the American Red Cross swim safety program.

Week 2: Trail Blazing Adventure Week

Taking a journey through Cal Poly Pomona, campers will gain knowledge on outdoor adventures where they will learn skills on how to be able to navigate, scale, and hike through the wilderness of the BRIC and CPP!

Week 3: Superheros Week

Training and saving lives is what super heroes do! Campers will go through different courses of fitness such as dance classes, indoor and outdoor games, and learning tips about wellness. Campers will be able to put their superhero training into practice at the end of the week with an age appropriate obstacle course!

Week 4: Olympics Week

Go for the gold while learning to play various sports and games. Campers will learn to play new and fun team games to enhance team work and learn the art of sportsmanship!

FAQ

What age groups does Kids University serve?

Kids ranging from the 6 – 12.

When is the payment due in full?

June 15, 2018.

What should my camper bring to camp?

We recommend that campers are dressed in comfortable clothing while keeping in mind the hot temperatures and activities that the campers will be doing. Make sure your campers have the following: refillable water bottle, tennis shoes, swim suit.

Do I need to drop my camper off with a lunch?

All food will be catered from a local vendor. We will meet any dietary needs that are stated on your campers registration form.

Is Kids University a day camp or overnight camp?

All Kids University camp weeks are day camps, i.e. no overnight stays.
