Nick Razo

TITLE

Sport Clubs Graduate Assistant

ABOUT

Nick Razo was born and raised in Santa Maria, California where he spent his youth and teenage years playing basketball. During his undergraduate experience at Cal State Northridge, Nick spent his time working as an Intramural Official and also participated in several intramural sports. He also had the opportunity to compete in the NIRSA Regional Basketball Tournament in Sacramento State, where he started developing a passion for sport clubs. Nick was able to gain valuable professional experience by interning for CSUN’s sport clubs department and getting the chance to attend several NIRSA Conferences.

Nick currently serves as the Sport Clubs Graduate Assistant while also being the President of the Cal Poly Pomona Basketball Club. He is currently attending classes to receive his Master of Public Administration degree. He strives to encompass physical and mental well-being to the student body while also including it in his everyday life. In his spare time, Nick enjoys watching movies, playing basketball, and spending time with his family and friends.

Nataly Arellano

TITLE

Sport Clubs Supervisor

ABOUT

Nataly Arellano is a Sport Club Supervisor who is in her third year at Cal Poly Pomona. Her major is Food and Nutrition with an emphasis in Dietetics. Nataly has been with the Sport Clubs Program for 3 years and recently attended her

first NIRSA Conference. She has been involved with sports her whole life and is very passionate about the Sport Clubs Program here at Cal Poly Pomona. Her goal is to increase the number of teams and build a strong foundation that will continue to grow after she has graduated. In addition, Nataly has participated in several Intramural Sports as well as officiated volleyball and soccer her fist year.

Nataly loves kids and hopes to work in community nutrition to educate underserved families in nutrition. This past summer she traveled to Spain to help run a camp that teaches English and helps get children involved in exercise. In her spare time, she loves to listen to music, go on adventures and play soccer. Come by and say hi!

TJ Freedman is a 4th year at CPP double majoring in Marketing and International Business graduating in Spring ’18. He was born and raised in Walnut, California. He loves traveling around the world and will go on an adventure any chance he gets. He is a part of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and participates in multiple Intramural Sports including Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Dodgeball, and Softball. He’s played competitive sports all his life and is very excited to help the Sport Clubs Program grow and succeed!
