SCUBA Certification Courses

Are you interested in learning to dive and earning your PADI scuba diving certification? Or are you already a certified diver interested in earning a more advanced scuba diving certification? Earn your certification with ASI Campus Recreation. We offer a wide variety of PADI scuba certifications for you to start your diving adventures or continue your scuba diving education.

Coral Reef Conservation Specialty

Many people know little about what they are seeing or the importance of reef ecosystems. The Coral Reef Conservation Specialty course helps you appreciate the complexity of these habitats and teaches you how you can help conserve these vital systems.

Anyone who has an interest in the aquatic world can take this course. There are no prerequisites or age restrictions and no water sessions are required to earn this non-diving certification.

Project AWARE Specialty

The Project AWARE Specialty course is an introduction to a global movement for ocean protection. It focuses and expands on 10 Tips to Protect the Ocean Planet and to provide guidance and help you make a difference for ocean protection every time you dive or travel. This is a dry course to engage divers and non-divers alike as well as a perfect solution to these Stay-at-Home days.

Open Water Diver Course

Learning to scuba dive requires both knowledge development – including facts, principles and concepts – and dive skills including techniques and methods. You develop dive skills during actual dives with a PADI Instructor at your PADI Dive Center or Resort. By completing knowledge development online, you’re ready to meet with your instructor and start having fun in the water.

*This course fee only covers your online training and assessments. Practical training sessions and dives are required and available at additional fees.

Advanced Open Water Diver Course

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver eLearning is designed to improve your underwater knowledge and skills. You can enroll immediately after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification regardless of your skill level. The course helps you build confidence in navigation, fine-tune buoyancy skills and introduces you to different diving activities such as wreck diving, night diving or underwater imaging. After completing your eLearning, you’ll make five Adventure Dives: a deep dive (beyond 18m/60F), a navigation dive, and three additional Adventure Dives of your choice to earn your certification.

Fish Identification Specialty

“What was that fish?” is a common question heard after a dive. If you want to be the scuba diver with the answers, instead of the one asking the questions, then take the Fish Identification Specialty course. You’ll enjoy your dives even more when you recognize the creatures that you see and can identify the main fish families and their characteristics.

6/24 from 3-4 p.m. & 7/8 from 4-5 p.m.

Underwater Naturalist Specialty

Take the PADI Underwater Naturalist Specialty course and you’ll see new things, even on the most familiar scuba diving sites. Why? Because when know more about symbioses, underwater ecology, and aquatic plant and animal habitats, you notice behaviors and see creatures you may have previously missed. Learn more about the local ecosystem and take a closer look on your next scuba diving adventure.

Equipment Specialty Course

The PADI Equipment Specialist Touch is available as part of the PADI Equipment Specialist course. As part of this course you’ll learn about routine care and maintenance as well as scuba equipment storage recommendations. Your instructor will show you how to overcome some common equipment problems and offer equipment configuration suggestions. You may even get to jump into the water to try new or unfamiliar equipment for the first time with the assistance of a PADI Pro.
