Each certification course offered through the ASI Scuba Dive Center encompasses three components: PADI® eLearning (online module lessons), confined water training sessions in the BRIC pool, and open water certification dives in our beautiful southern California waters. Open Water Diver Course
If you have always wanted to experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. The ASI Scuba Dive Center offers the PADI® Open Water Diver course – the world’s most popular and widely recognized SCUBA certification. By the end of the course, you will have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world.

Advanced Open Water Diver Course
The PADI® Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about advancing your skills. You will practice navigation and buoyancy, try deep diving and make three specialty dives of your choosing (it’s like a specialty sampler platter). For every specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward PADI® specialty certifications.
Our course pricing for Advanced Open Water Diver includes a one-year Divers Alert Network (DAN) membership and diving insurance subscription.
Note: Each part has its own separate registration – completion of all parts is required to earn certification.

Rescue Diver Course
The PADI® Rescue Diver course will change the way you dive – in the best possible way. Learn to identify and fix minor issues before they become big problems, gain a lot of confidence and have serious fun along the way. It is challenging, yet very rewarding.
Diving insurance is not included in the Rescue Diver course pricing, but is required to participate in Parts 2 and 3 of the course.

Specialty Combo Course
Specialty courses provide specialized training in your areas of interest. With this Specialty Combo course, you will be able to complete two specialties of your choice.
Here are a few of the many options: deep, digital underwater photography; dive against debris; dry suit; enriched air nitrox; fish identification; night; peak performance buoyancy; search and recovery; underwater naturalist, underwater navigation, and wreck diver.

Diving insurance is not included in the Rescue Diver course pricing, but is required to participate in Parts 2 and 3 of the course.

Each certification course offered through the ASI Scuba Dive Center encompasses three parts: online module lessons, pool practice sessions, and open water dives.
Note: The e-learning portion must be completed prior to attending the confined water training session, and a confined water training session must be completed prior to participating in an open water trip.
