Overview

The course content and activities will prepare participants to make appropriate decisions about the care to provide in a medical emergency. The course teaches the skills an EMR needs to act as a crucial link in the emergency medical services (EMS) system.

CPR/AED PRO Instructor Course

Overview

This course incorporates the most recent ECC standards and includes CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers with basic first aid and administering emergency oxygen. This course certifies instructors to teach the American Red Cross CPRO courses.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Overview

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) uses a scenario-based approach to develop the critical thinking and problem solving skills that drive better patient outcomes. Consistent with AHA Guidelines for CPR/ECC. Covers breathing and cardiac emergencies – including CPR, AED, and obstructed airway – for adult, child, and infant patients.
