Beginner Boxing

Description

This 5 week clinic meets twice per week; each session 60 minutes. Members will be instructed through progressive movements needed to move onto the Advanced Boxing Clinic.

Advanced Boxing

Description

Clinic builds upon Beginner Boxing Clinic. Participants will be required to complete the beginner course to register to ensure safety and appropriate progression of instruction.

Beginner Kickboxing

Description

This 5 week introductory clinic meets twice per week; each session is 60 minutes. The clinic is a progressive format and focuses on fusing cardio intervals and traditional Muay Thai kickboxing drills.

Advanced Kickboxing

Description

This 5 week clinic meets twice per week; each session is 60 minutes. The clinic is a progressive format and designed to teach fundamental punches, kicks, and technique for Muay-Thai style kickboxing using the heavy bags and focus mitts.

Reformer Clinic

Description

This 5 week clinic meets twice per week; each session is 55 minutes. The clinic is a progressive format and provides beginner level instruction to the reformer bar. Participants will learn basic technique using a combination of the reformer bar and mat work to strengthen core stability and overall strength.

Becoming a Fitness Professional

Description

Learn about various group fitness and personal training certifications and what it takes to become an instructor or trainer in the field. Participants will be introduced to basic concepts such as class design, scope of practice, careers in fitness, and how to teach a safe and effective warmup. Two separate sessions will be offered; one focuses on Group Fitness Instructor certification and the other Personal Trainer.

Food Is Fuel: Nutrition Series

Description

45 minute lecture format to learn about three trending nutrition topics: Nutrition 101, Supplements and Meal Prep. These topics are meant to improve daily living and overall quality of life. Learn material grounded in scientific research, ask questions in an open forum format while having the opportunity to participate in hands-on demonstrations.
