Group Fitness

Tired of the treadmill? Join the Bronco community for a great workout in a group setting. Our group fitness program provides a variety of classes including mind/body, strength, cardio, and dance. Each class is designed and taught by certified instructors. Group fitness classes welcome individuals of all fitness levels. All equipment is provided and classes are open to all fitness levels. No previous experience is necessary.

All BRIC members and guests are eligible to participate in group fitness classes.

How to Register

  1. Pick your class at recportal.cpp.edu
  2. Register through recportal up to 24 hours in advance
  3. Head to the studio at the start of class!

Class Descriptions

Classes are 55 minutes in length unless otherwise noted.

Strength & Tone

Core Express

25 Minutes
Focus on improving everyday functionality of your abdominals to increase strength using floor and mat based exercises.

 

Butts & Guts

25 Minutes
Targets glutes, lower body and core through a combination of small isolated movements and large dynamic movements to tone, lift and tighten.

 

TRX

55 Minutes
Utilize gravity and body weight to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously through strength training and cardio.

 

Bootcamp

55 Minutes
This circuit based class involves using conventional methods and a variety of high-intensity group intervals to improve strength, agility, muscle mass and endurance.

 

Barre

55 Minutes
Focus on isometric strength training while doing high reps of small range-of-motion movements using the ballet barre.

 

Hammertime

55 Minutes
Strength training based class that focuses on developing core and upper body strength along with improving overall fitness using a sledgehammer.

 

Junkyard

55 Minutes
Push your body to the limit using unconventional methods and experience an intense and rigorous workout to improve strength and fitness.

 

Upper Body Pump

55 Minutes
Targets all the muscle groups in your upper body with a variety of equipment and exercises.

Dance & Groove

Zumba

55 Minutes
Exotic rhythms with high-energy Latin and international beats that create a dynamic, exciting and effective full body cardio workout that you can dance to.

Mind & Body

Pilates

55 Minutes
Learn the Pilates Mat repertoire along with various adaptations to develop and increase muscle strength, coordination, balance and flexibility with proper body alignment and form.

 

Yoga

55 Minutes
Improve overall health, strength, flexibility and balance to naturally align your mind and body while creating a peaceful mindset to carry throughout your day.

 

Meditation

55 Minutes
Explore various guided meditations to refocus attention on breath and relax the mind to manage and lessen the effects of everyday stress.

Cardio & Endurance

Spinning

55 Minutes
High energy cardio class that includes a mixture of flats, hills and sprints to feel the power in your core and legs at any ability level.

 

Spinning Express

25 Minutes
Express version of our Spinning class that is a high energy cardio class that includes a mixture of flats, hills and sprints to feel the power in your core and legs at any ability level.

 

Kickbox Circuit

55 Minutes
High energy class that alternates cardiovascular and strengthening movements with the fundamentals and techniques of kickboxing.

 

Bosu Express

25 Minutes
Cardio class designed to increase strengthen core, stability and balance while utilizing the Bosu Balance Trainer in a fun, high-intensity format.

 

Step and Tone

55 Minutes
Step aerobics combined with cardio and strength training to increase core muscles, flexibility and overall fitness.

 

TurboKick

55 Minutes
A mix of kickboxing and simple dance moves with high-paced intervals. It’s the ultimate cardio challenge that will keep you coming back for more!
