Adventures is helping CPP get wild even as we stay at home! Join any one of our live virtual programs which offer a variety of free interactive programming centered around exploring popular outdoor venues and learning technical outdoors skills that can help you with your future outdoor journeys.

Yosemite National Park a Virtual Tour

Join Adventures as we take a virtual tour of Yosemite National Park. During this live tour via Google Earth, you will have a chance to explore some iconic sights like Half Dome and Yosemite Falls.This will be a great opportunity to experience this famous location from the comfort of your own home with some insight for planning your next trip. Hiking shoes not required!


Wilderness Survival – The 7 Priorities, 9/3/2020, Noon-12:45pm

Join Adventures as we dive deep into the topic of Wilderness Survival. Together, we will explore the seven priorities of wilderness survival and identify some greater context around the knowledge and skills required to survive a single night or longer in a variety of environments. During this virtual workshop, survival kits are not required.

Backpacking the John Muir Trail A Trip Report

Join ASI, Adventures and Ian Navarro he shares a trip report from the successful completion of the John Muir Trail. We will explore the many challenges and rewards found along this famous 211 mile long trail that traverses the rugged spine of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Viewing from the comfort of your couch is recommended so no hiking shoes are required!

This free virtual program will explore the most common climbing injuries, specific techniques to help prevent them, and methods to assist in recovery post injury. Please join this engaging virtual program and get ready to move. We recommend athletic clothing, a water bottle, and a safe space for static stretches and dynamic body weight exercises.

Join ASI, Adventures as we discuss fitness techniques specifically for climbers. This free virtual program will explore warm-ups, stretches, and physical training to help you maintain your fitness. Slacklining Basics, 11/12/20, Noon-12:45pm

Join ASI, Adventures as we explore the joys and benefits of slacklining. An Adventures instructor will review how to set up multiple types of slacklines, review some basic techniques to get started, and explain some of the benefits associated with what many avid slackliners would describe as “moving meditation”.
