Volunteer with BEAT and Student Government

Have you ever wondered what it takes to put on a huge event? Ever wanted to be a part of the the team that orchestrates campus events such as concerts, diversity programs and recreational activities? Well no worries, the Bronco Events and Activities Team (BEAT) has an answer for you! Apply to be a BEAT Volunteer Committee member.

Volunteers can sign up at the next meeting and choose the event they want to take part in. Just show up and you’re good to go! The next meeting is Thursday, Dec. 5, the day before Midnight Madness.

You can always volunteer for other Student Government positions. Andrea Cendejas, ASI Elections Chair is currently looking for applicants for the elections committee. If you sign up, you can gain necessary political skills by assisting the Elections Chair with election day. Stop by the Student Government office (Bldg. 35- 1341) to pick up an application!

Volunteers for the elections committee do need to meet the CSU system-wide requirements of eligibility, which include: the student has completed at least two CPP quarters, be enrolled in at least nine units, have no outstanding issues with Judicial Affairs and has at least a 2.0 GPA.

Stop by the Student Government office for more details about volunteer positions in other areas, like External Affairs and Education.
