Auction to raise money for the Children’s Center

Children were treated to a "Tea Time" themed auction last year.

Whether you are a parent looking to bond with your child on campus, or just looking for something to do on a Thursday night, here’s your chance to help out the campus community.

The Children’s Center is hosting a Western-themed auction fundraiser on Thursday, May 30 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bronco Commons.

General admission is $12 for adults and $5 for children who are not enrolled at the Children’s Center. Admission is free for children enrolled at the Children’s Center.

Admission includes a barbecue dinner and the carnival games for the children.

Auction items include Bed Bath and Beyond gift cards, tickets to Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theatre,  Knott’s Berry Farm, The Huntington Library, Laser Island, Madame Tussauds in Hollywood, Speedzone and Scandia Amusement Park.

The money raised in the auction will be used to upgrade the security system in the center, for safety and security training and toward teacher certification and training.

There will be a special performance by the children from the Children’s Center. This event sells out fast, so be sure to buy your ticket as soon as possible!
