Candyland Madness

Candyland Madness

The sugar rush of the year can be enough to make even the best students yearn for a break. Lucky for them, the Bronco Events and Activities (BEAT) is here for their stress-relieving needs!
Candyland Madness at the Bronco Student Center (BSC) arrived just in time to help Broncos take a quick, sweet break before the start of finals week.

Maria Gutierrez, a first-year zoology student described the event as “literally a candy lover’s dream. Everywhere I look I can get candy.”No event is complete without free hot dogs!

Free churros made sure to keep a good balance between sweet and cinnamon.

Students could also participate in a scavenger hunt to win a free T-Shirt and be entered into an opportunity drawing to win an iPod Shuffle.
Thirsty? No worries, Cha for Tea held a tabling event where they gave away free milk tea and coupons!

Lucus Frias, first-year computer science student said that Candyland Madness was “a good way to get students together and take a break.”

Students could go burn off their sugar rush at the Games Room Etc. (Bldg. 35- 1110) which offered free games all night long and karaoke for those willing to show off their beautiful voices.

Candy lovers could also go into Ursa Major (Bldg. 35- 2611) for some carnival-style games and to jam out to an awesome set from a live DJ.

Needless to say, Candyland Madness was an event for all your sugar cravings needs.

The next Midnight Madness will be hosted on March 10 at the BSC (Bldg. 35) from 10 p.m. to midnight. Makes sure you follow ASI on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and on Snapchat @asicpp for more updates.
