What needs to be done in order to become a Sport Club on campus?

Clubs must attend OSLCC meeting and register with campus as a Club. At the OSLCC meeting, in one of the “break out sessions” Sport Clubs will present and there the attendees will receive the Sport Club Application Form.

Can advisors attend practices?

Yes, advisors are more than welcome to attend practices.

When will there be storage space for sport clubs?

We are currently looking for more storage units for our clubs to use. If you need storage, please visit or email the sport club staff and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Is there a sport clubs council?

No, however, we are currently in the process of establishing a council.

Are parents allowed to drive sport club members to practices/games?

Parents are only able to drive their student to the practice/game. They will however not be covered under the sport club insurance.

Can Sport Club Supervisors or GA’s drive participants to practice/games?

Sport Club supervisors or GA’s cannot drive participants to practice/games.

How many hours can a sport club reserve within the Studios in the BRIC?

10 hours, but you can petition for more hours.

Can sport clubs rent a van?

Yes, through enterprise with an ASI rate, but through a sport club account.

What type of First Aid is acceptable?

American Red Cross, American Heart Association or any of their affiliates.

How far in advance do I need to turn in travel forms to get reimbursed?

Your club must have all forms in at least 10 business days in advance. It is preferable to turn them in earlier, as this process can take some time.
