Intro to Boxing

Overview

Learn the basics of kicks, punches, and movement patterns utilizing heavy bags and small equipment. Improve core conditioning and functional strength. This clinic introduces beginner level kickboxing skills and drills. No previous experience required.

Reformer Clinic

Overview

This clinic introduces beginner level exercises using the reformer bar, bands, balls, and mat work. No previous experience required.

Becoming a Fitness Pro

Overview

Learn about various group fitness and personal training certifications and what it takes to become an instructor or trainer in the field. Participants will be introduced to basic concepts such as class design, scope of practice, careers in fitness, and how to teach a safe and effective warm-up. Two separate sessions will be offered; one focuses on Group Fitness Instructor certification and the other Personal Training.

Food is Fuel: Nutrition Series

Overview

45 minute lecture format to learn about three trending nutrition topics: Nutrition 101, Supplements, and Holiday Eating. These topics are meant to improve daily living and overall quality of life. Learn material grounded in scientific research, ask questions in an open forum format while having the opportunity to participate in hands-on demonstrations.
