Are you interested in learning to dive and earning your PADI scuba diving certification? Or are you already a certified diver interested in earning a more advanced scuba diving certification? Earn your certification with ASI Campus Recreation. We offer a wide variety of PADI scuba certifications for you to start your diving adventures or continue your scuba diving education. If you are already certified to dive, we also offer scuba day trips. Come dive with us either through a boat dive or a beach dive.

Discover Scuba Diving (Scuba Try it)

Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. ASI Campus Recreation offers this program right here at the BRIC. You can try out scuba in the comfort of our own aquatics facility with a PADI dive instructor. While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. This class is for those who want to experience and practice SCUBA skills without the certification.
There are two different workshop dates offered.
*includes all scuba equipment and instruction
*not a certification course

Dates: First Session: October 12 & Second Session: December 1

Time: 4:00PM-6:00PM

Price: Members $5, Non-members $45

Scuba Orientation

Scuba Orientation will be required for certified scuba divers who wish to participate in the ASI Scuba Program. Orientation will be required BRIC members who would like to rent gear or participate in Scuba day trips. Participants will be demonstrating Scuba skills for a Certified PADI instructor or Divemaster.
Mandatory Pre-Test Date: October 5th 12:00PM – 2:00PM

Dates: September 29 – December 1

Time: 3:00PM – 5:00PM

Exception Dates: 10/20, 10/27, 11/17, 11/24

Pre-Requisites: Must be a certified SCUBA Diver

Scuba ReActivate

Are you a certified SCUBA Diver, but have not been in the water for awhile. Take the ReActivate class, you will review the basic SCUBA knowledge on line, and then get in the pool and practice your skills.

Dates: Sunday, November 12

Time: Noon – 3:00PM

Open Water Scuba Certification

If you have always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. ASI Campus Recreation is offering members the PADI Open Water Diver course – the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course.
Fees for courses include student materials, certification fees, rental gear, and the open water dive trip.
Mandatory swim test and information Session October 5 at Noon – 2:00 PM
