This year marked the second year that BroncoFusion was held as a three-day event, allowing for students to get to know the campus on Wednesday, Sept. 25 before the first day of school and information booths staggered around campus on Thursday, Sept. 26. BroncoFusion, a free event for Cal Poly Pomona students, culminated on Friday night with the annual concert held at Bronco Commons.
Del the Funky Homosapien and Dan the Automater of Deltron 3030 started off the concert, which was followed with energetic performances by Sage the Gemini, IAMSU! and Problem. DJs Nick Ledesma and Scenic pumped up the crowd before the artists hit the stage. A big crowd of students showed up and danced the night away as they sang along with the performers.
Students also enjoyed a club fair and food truck festival earlier in the day. Attendees lined up for dinner from an assortment of trucks, including Green Truck, White Rabbit and CPP’s own Poly Trolley.
Just in the past few years, BroncoFusion has been evolving and growing, which was definitely evident at this event.
