Help save lives during “Out For Blood”

Help save lives during “Out For Blood”

Cal Poly Pomona and Mt. Sac are at it again!

The Student Health and Wellness Center will be putting on the sixth consecutive blood drive competition between Cal Poly Pomona and local college Mt. San Antonio. The blood drive will take place between October 16-18 from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Since 2006, CPP and Mt. Sac have been competing to see who can collect the most donated blood in October and April.

In only an hour of your time, you can help save the lives of three people. So, come to the Bronco Student Center, Ursa Minor to help CPP beat Mt. Sac and save lives!

Sign up online at http://www.redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code CALPOLY to make your appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome, but priority will be given to those with appointments.

To be eligible to donate blood, you must be at least 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. Read more about eligibility requirements.

If you are interested in volunteering, call Judith Campos (American Red Cross) at 626-840-0457 or e-mail Debbie Jackley at dljackley@csupomona.edu.
