ASI ART PROGRAM
Skip the drive to the museum and check out the incredible artwork made by your fellow Broncos at the BSC (Bldg. 35)! Stop by Eat Your Art on Feb. 1, 11 a.m. to noon and Motley Origami on Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. to noon, both at the BSC (Bldg. 35), Eridanus Lounge (chalk wall).

BRONCO EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES TEAM (BEAT)

Add bachata and salsa to your dance repertoire at Noche de Salsa, Feb. 9 from 7:30-10 p.m. at the BSC, Ursa Major (Bldg. 35-2611)! Learn new dance styles from a pro, get to know various Greek organizations on campus and chow down on The Poly Trolley’s must-try tacos!

Top off Bronco Spirit Week with some classic Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) pride at Bronco Madness, March 2 from 10 p.m. to midnight at the BSC (Bldg. 35)! Celebrate Homecoming early with your favorite DIY activities, free food, music and more.

Don’t sit out on all the fun that comes with volunteering for BEAT! Make sure to check out any of the upcoming BEAT Volunteer Meetings to find out how you can participate! The next meeting is  Feb. 22 at the BSC, England Evans (Bldg. 35-2132), noon to 1 p.m.

BRONCO STUDENT CENTER (BSC, Bldg. 35)
Be on the lookout for extended hours at the BSC starting week 10! Late Night at the BSC will be back so you can utilize the BSC to eat, meat, study and play during finals week.

CAMPUS RECREATION

Cheer on your favorite team at Super Bowl Sunday on Feb. 4 from 3-8 p.m. at the BRIC poolside lounge (Bldg. 42). Bring your football-fan friends and your appetite, because there will be free food!

Rec Fest is back on Feb 23! Celebrate our National Recreation and Fitness Day with us from 7-10 p.m. at the BRIC (Bldg. 42). Participate in glow Zumba classes, karaoke, open climbing, bubble soccer and more! The first 150 students at the event will receive a free T-shirt and the first 400 students will receive a free Poly Trolley meal, so arrive early!

GAMES ROOM ETC. (GRE)

Think you have serious Mario Kart skills? Come to the Mario Kart Tournament and battle it out on Feb. 1 at 6 p.m. at the Games Room Etc. (Bldg. 35-1110).

Donut Worry Mondays are back on Feb. 5 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Games Room Etc. (Bldg. 35-1110)! Come early because you don’t want to miss your chance to get free donuts and coffee.

STUDENT ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS (SAP)

If you’re looking for a place to unwind, the Relaxation Station will have everything you need from sleeping mats to refreshing teas on Jan. 31 at the BSC, Ursa Minor (Bldg. 35-2135) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Feb 28: Workout Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., BRIC (Bldg. 42) and Bronco Commons.
  • March 1: Bronco Pride Day, noon to 1 p.m., University Park
  • March 2: Pep Rally, 9-10 p.m., BSC (Bldg. 35), Center Court

Saturday, March 3 wraps up Bronco Spirit Week with a Homecoming! Get ready to jam out at the Bronco Commons stage for our Homecoming concert, starting at 4 p.m. Be sure to register for Homecoming here.

Take your learning outside the classroom by attending The Last Lecture Series! Soak in life lessons from your favorite professors as they take the stage to share thought-provoking topics with students. Stay tuned for more info on winter quarter’s Last Lecture event.

Haven’t had the chance to register to vote? ASI Student Government is here to help you step in the right direction! Meet your Governmental Affairs Committee at any of their upcoming Voter Registration Drives. Drives will be held on a bi-weekly basis during winter quarter.

Join the conversation on how ASI can create a more eco-friendly impact on campus by attending the biweekly Sustainability Dialogues! Enjoy warm drinks, bring your own cup—and ideas—to the BRIC pool for a discussion on how CPP can become greener. Make sure to save the dates for winter quarter:

Learn how you can reduce your carbon footprint at the Alternate Transportation  Fair! Explore different methods of transportation from vendors such as Tesla, Foothill Transit, Metrolink, Vic’s Bike Shop and more. The fair will take place Feb. 22 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at University Park.
