Try a Mini Triathlon with Campus Recreation

Saturday, May 9 Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) Campus Recreation will be hosting a mini triathlon at the Bronco Recreation and Intramural Complex (BRIC, Bldg. 42) from 10 a.m. to noon.

The event is open to all BRIC members at a cost of only $5 to compete. To register, please visit Member Services at the BRIC.  The last day to register is Friday, May 8.

So what exactly will you experience in this mini triathlon? While this is not a full triathlon, this event will give competitors the opportunity to participate in all of the events in an actual triathlon. The mini triathlon will consist of the following:

10 mile bike ride (on the stationary bikes provided)

500 meter swim (at the BRIC pool)

5k run (on course around the Cal Poly Pomona campus)

Competitors will need to come fully prepared for the event by bringing workout clothes and swim attire (including goggles should the competitor prefer).
